Our installation team has been hard at work this week fitting two impressive 7-metre-high totem modular sign trays at the main entrance of Liverpool John Moores University’s Byrom Street campus.
These totem signs were positioned facing the busy Scotland Road (A59) in Liverpool, making visibility and impact a key priority. To minimise disruption to traffic and the university, the installation was carried out during night-time hours.
This project builds on previous work we completed for LJMU in 2012, and we were pleased to collaborate once again on this signage refresh. Our sales team worked closely with the client to determine the best materials, finishes, and installation timing for the site’s updated requirements.
The aluminium sign tray sections were powder coated to align with LJMU’s refreshed brand guidelines, featuring a gradient colour mix and internally illuminated university logos fitted into the upper modules. The final result delivers strong visibility both day and night and enhances the university’s presence from a distance.
